Bonus Bagging Is It A Scam, What’s The Catch And Is It Worth Doing? Here’s What I Found Out.

Home / Blog / Bonus Bagging Is It A Scam, What’s The Catch And Is It Worth Doing? Here’s What I Found Out.

Before reading this please note you can listen to some of the music I create by using the player on the right.

I was recently told about Bonus Bagging, a friend said he’d made a load of money in the first month and then around £500 in the subsequent months for about a year. As soon as he mentioned gambling websites I couldn’t stop myself from feeling very sceptical. My father had lost the equivalent of a million dollars through gambling and died a poor man and when I was about 13 I lost £0.50 on a slot machine and never really recovered. So as you can see I’m a little anti gambling. I’m going to tell you my conclusion now, before we get going, that way you can see where I’m heading. Bonus Bagging isn’t a scam, it can make some money for you, but it requires 5 main things. The first is some liquid money, at least £300, but to really take advantage of some of the extra offers that pop up, you’d be better off with over £1000. This is partly because as you put bets on there may be several days between the bet and the competition, plus some bonuses or winnings may only be released after several roll over bets have taken place and on top of all of that withdrawing money from some sites can take a few days whereas depositing money in to them takes only a matter of seconds. The next requirement is discipline. You will have to make sure you’re not easily distracted and follow through with both a bet and its counter lay bet, otherwise you’ll end up in gambling territory. A friend of mine didn’t do the lay bet (3 times!!!) and lost £150. When I do a bet I always double check that the bet has been placed. I panicked a few times when I didn’t know how to see what bets I’d placed on Betfair, their search “My Bets” page is a little confusing at first. The third requirement is record keeping. I keep a spreadsheet which keeps all the info about what I do, such as which companies I have accounts with, whether the bets were qualifying or bonus ones, when and what they were, how much profit or loss they made and whether or not I have withdrawn the money from the company plus other info I may deem relevant  It would be very easy to forget where my money had gone if I didn’t do so. So every time I do a bet and a lay bet, every time I put money in or withdraw some I write it in to the Spreadsheet. Bonus Bagging allows 3 bets per 24 hours. It takes about an hour to do and record 3 sets of bets. Each set is made up of a bet and its opposite bet, so for instance I’ll bet that horse number 9 will lose and I’ll bet the opposite result on Betfair (Betfair is an on line betting market, where you can be the betting shop, and enter into a bet with an Anonymous someone else). If you lose on Betfair you pay the other person close to what you would have won in your original bet with the main betting company. Thus you either win or lose a very small amount in this process. Winning isn’t the point though, the reason for doing it is to release a bonus fee from the betting website. They often will offer a free bet worth a certain amount if you place a real bet with them. Once you’ve released a free bet or bonus bet you then go through the process of betting on something in both directions again. The difference is, this time you do a bet with higher odds and partly their money. The result, of course, is you will win with one bet and lose with the other. There is, however, a net gain this time because some of the bet was made with money that was given for free. If you win using the free bet money you only get to keep the winnings not the original bonus stake but you’ll still make a profit. Each time you complete a cycle of bonus bets you make a small profit, but if you are doing 3 qualifying bet cycles and 3 bonus bet cycles per day then you’d probably be looking at between £20 to £50 per day for between 1 to 2 hours work. So the fourth requirement is TIME, you’re going to be working for your money, but getting between £10 to £20 per hour for tax free earnings isn’t a bad start to the day. The fifth requirement is having a credit / debit card and ID… That’s kind of 2 requirements I know. If you want to try Bonus Bagging there’s a link below that will take you to their sign up page, it’ll cost about £32 including VAT but you’ll get that money back in a day or so of following their instructions . I took it easy at first, it takes a while to get your head around finding bets on a webpage and of course it’s always a good idea to be cautious, but as you get in to it, it gets easier. Let me know how you get on and if you make a fortune don’t forget who got you in to it. Here’s a link to the spreadsheet. You’ll need to know Excel well to make much sense of it, you will have to copy the form for each set of bets, I just put one in so you can copy it as needed. If you find it useful and fancy giving me a donation for it please do so by using the donate link below. Thank you.

hey guys have any of u heard of a betting site called odinbet? a few of my friends and I have got involved through a company called blue sky arb. basically as a member of bsa every time I put money in my odinbet account they double it so I can use these bets to lay off on bet fair to make profit which is great if you win on betfair but if you win on odin then you have to play through your stake 15 times plus the bonus 15 time which seems hell of a lot so basically i can never see you being able to take money out of odinbet which seems like a bit of a scam to encourage you to lose all your money on odin bet? any thoughts?

After just 3 weeks of betting, Mike sent me an email saying I have used all his supporting bookmakers … has this happened to anyone else? he has given me a list of bookies and a calculator tool to use on my own to work out bets. I read his sales pitch before buying and he did promise to work out all the bets for you so it would be risk free.

I have not joined any bookies before so was shocked to learn I had used all his supporting bookies in just 3 weeks,

I have read all good reviews about people making money – are you all doing this on your own or is Mike working the bets out for you? how long did he send you daily emails for until you were left to work it out on your own? and finally … how easy do you find it to work bets out on your own? I don’t trust myself so disappointed that I cant go any further.

Hi,
It took me a bit longer but you’re right the initial stage comes to an end quite quickly, however I made about £665 during that time and still get occasional offers that make a bit of money so I reckon it’s ok on the whole but Mike does over push it which I think is a bit unnecessary.

I bought the Arbs software but you do have to work at that and found it quite scary, especially the horse racing where odds can change right at the wrong moment.

The bets are worked out for you on the initial stage ( Bonus Bagging )

I hope that helps

Best wishes

Simon

Hi Dirk,
I’m not sure, sorry. You could write to Bonus Bagging and ask them, plus some uk betting companies might not deal with non uk users, sorry I can’t answer more accurately.

Best wishes and thanks for reading

I joined Bonus Bagging in April 2012 and was surprised at first to be making bets that deliberately lost money but soon got the hang of things. I did most of the easy ones following Mike’s recommendations taking one bet cycle at a time and made about 300 in a few weeks. Since then, I just do my own thing following the normal back bet, lay bet routine whenever I get an email offer from one of the online bookies (make sure these don’t end up in your spam folder). Bet365 do a series of 50 pound free in play bet offers each season usually on big premier league or champions league matches which are always worth taking. I only bet on football matches using the win-draw-win markets and find you make about 2/3 of the free bet amount offered on each deal depending how closely the back bet and lay bet odds are matched and if the offer is 1:1 (eg bet 10 get a 10 free bet etc). It`s the only system I`ve used which has consistently made me money over the past 18 months. Up about 600 currently.

Yes, if you’re not the kind of person to get drawn in to gambling, are meticulous in placing the bets correctly and have the time it’s well worth doing.

I have just come across this site today and I am not a pro with any type of betting experience at all.
I would like to know what the smallest amount can be put down for a bet?
£300 is alot of money to outlay and when someone has never done this before obviously very skeptical as I have lost great amounts in the past in other services and ventures,
and also it seems like you have to have alot of betting accounts??
Hope you can answer my questions.

Regards,
Bediveare.

You can start off doing small bets, so your initial outlay can be kept quite low until you build up the confidence to do the bigger bets. There were a few that I didn’t do because the outlay seemed to big for the amount of profit.

Hello,

I was just wondering if bonus bagging is the thing for me as I really have joined most of the betting sites in available in UK and so I guess would have no signup bonus or anything like that. So if anyone could guide me on that or can I create a new account on any of the sites and b eligible ofr the free bets and stuff like that.

I now know that this works but its a a pain in the ass not knowing if it will work for you as you are already a part of many of the sites.

Or if someone can give me a direct link to contact the owner of the software or their support so I can contact them regarding my situation and if bonus bagging will work for me or not.

Thanks a lot guys in advance and sorry for such a long comment and a pain to read it all through.

But thanks again
Asher

Alright Simon,

Simon do you only make the big money at the start i.e 5 or 600 a month. How long would that last, it seems from reading your forum that mike stops sending you e-mails after 3 weeks or so. If thats the case how come iv read [other sites] that people have been doing it for a year or so and still making big money, is there any truth in that. What i’m really trying to say is how long does the big money keep coming in. I have signed up to two or three of the top gambling sites already so i’m just wondering is it worth my while starting it. T.you in advance.

Hi Gary
Mike keeps sending emails way longer than 3 weeks. It takes about a month or so to do the initial stage, I made about £650 during that period. Other things pop up after that point but if you want to make more money you can sign up to other schemes Mike runs. I think people do make money doing those schemes but in a way it becomes a part time, albeit well paid job. I didn’t want to spend my time doing it at this point in my life but I may do at a later date. I hope that helps.

Hi Simon,

I’ve been doing bonus bagging for just over a week and have cleared about £230 so it definitely works. Admittedly I didn’t do 2 or 3 of the bets but I have just had my email to say I’ve used all the bookies!

I’m thinking of signing up with either Profit Maximiser or the arb software and just wondered if you had any advice on those? I’ve tried arbing before but it made my very nervous as you were having to bet £1000’s for a £20/£30 profit. Is it still the same with Mikes system?

Hi Craig,
In my experience they work however they require some amount of work and on things like horse racing where the odds can change fast there is an amount of risk, but if you see it as a job you will make money, but it’s not without a slight risk sometimes and quite a bit of work / time.

I think you could try with £100, but you might find some of the bigger bets a problem, maybe if you build up your winnings from the lower value bets you could do the bigger ones later. Good luck, let us know how it goes for you if you do it. ?
